Mission Statement of the Providence Presbyterian Church
The mission of the Providence Presbyterian Church of Bustleton is to tell and celebrate the Good News of Jesus Christ. We do this by providing for opportunities of corporate worship, Christian Education, fellowship, outreach and service. Grateful for God’s gift of salvation, we respond to God’s call to faithfulness by ministering to our own church family, and moving out into the local and greater communities. With growing commitment to Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, we strive to demonstrate a newness of life by fostering a trust in God, a joyful and peaceful spirit, and a love of God, self, and neighbor. Situated in a changing landscape of farms and new developments, and drawing from many different townships in our area of New Jersey, a unique focus of our mission is to establish a sense of community among a geographically diverse people. From our corporate experience, we go back out to our individual homes and vocations to be a personal witness for Christ, and to make a positive difference in the world. |
